What is Phairo?

Phairo is an Australian Designed and Australian Made Headwear (or Sweatwear) for active people designed to keep the sweat out of your eyes while you work or play. When it was first designed in 2004 (for my cycling comfort), until commercial production in 2015, the Phairo underwent some extensive and rigorous testing over more than a hundred thousand kilometres, in all conditions, in all seasons, with over 30 test riders.
There are now thousands of Phairo wearers who have discovered the joy of working hard and avoiding stinging, sweaty eyes. They come from all walks of life doing any number of activities.

Touring Cut

This cut has the longest drape, therefor , most coverage at the back. It is 10cm longer than the Recreation and 15cm longer than the Race. Great for long periods in the sun.

Race Cut

Less drape at neck for those that like that race feel

Recreation Cut

More drape at neck for sun protection

The Pony

The Pony has a 14cm opening to allow a high or low ponytail out

Backorders – If your choice shows ‘Backordered’ it is usually custom made for you. It may take up to 4 weeks, but most often quicker.
